Servant Leadership

True leadership is a journey of surrender and knowing whom I serve. It brings memories of my leadership in the past and reveals my shortcomings as a leader.    Surrendering is the beginning of leadership because if you are not fully surrendered, it becomes a challenge to align your will to God’s purpose for your life. You begin to chase things that are not purposeful and lead a life of unfulfillment. With God as a center point, you not only become content with life, but you also focus on what God intended your life to be. Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who lives, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”     David’s heart belonged to God; his life was a testament to this because he had surrendered all of himself.
